Post elopement reception,what should I wear?

Probably just a nice dress. I've seen people have a reception after they come back from a honeymoon that wear the wedding attire while others have on Sunday clothes

Any reception/celebration I've been to following a DW or an elopement, (I've only been to 4), the bride has actually worn her wedding gown. Guests also dressed up as if they were going to a wedding.. I think you could spin this any way you wanted. Is your reception formal or more casual?

If you are in love with your wedding gown and want to wear it again, why not?! I WOULD!

I've had many of my elopement brides wear gowns, and I know many of them are wearing them again. I've also done many weddings for couples who eloped first, and many of those brides are in gowns. I think you can do what you want!

It's not unheard of to re-wear your wedding dress. That's probably what I would do!

What you want to wear! Every one of these I have been to the couple has reworn what they wore to the wedding, whatever that was. If you don't want to do that, personally I would just wear a nice dress. If you are the type that wants to wear white/ivory (some don't even want to wear that for big formal weddings, and that's fine in my book) then I would go ahead and wear it. It might make you feel more bridal.

Whatever you want to wear! If I were to elope and do a post elopement reception afterwards I probably wouldn't wear the dress I wore to my elopement (it would have been a beach wedding) . Just a nice dress that was more of a cute evening cocktail dress. Congratulations!

Yeah, I would wear the dress again. I feel like a lot of your female relatives would love to see your wedding dress. Obviously it's completely up to you, though.
