Possible Wedding Venue, RED carpet? But CHEAP!

I think you will be fine... I don't think you OR your guests will even notice the carpet once everything is set up and decorated to your liking... I have been to tons of weddings where they had carpet that didn't match any of the colors or anything that went with the wedding and I didn't notice at all...

The venue looks amazing and so different... I say go for it!!!

I like the site. I dont think people would be looking at the carpet that much. Since it would be dark I dont think people would notice it. Its something you cant change people would understand.

The venue looks beautiful, and I didn't even notice the carpet (and I don't think your guests would either). If you are still concerned, just make sure that you use chocolate (or white/ivory) closer to the ground and Tiffany blue above/on top if it, like at eye level or higher. This way, the Tiffany blue will draw the eye up.

Thats a good suggestion, yeah I think I just needed some approval from some other people that weren't related to me to see if the carpet wasn't a problem!! I'm glad it's not because this place is about 1/2 of what I would have to spend around my area!! Thanks for all the advice so far!

Oh my God,.......no one is going to looking at anything other than that fabulous dance floor! Run over there immediately & give them the deposit! The place looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is indeed a beautiful venue. As a wedding coordinator, I have a couple of suggestions for you. The first one is if you don't like the carpet, draw everyone's attention up. Maybe have draping or sails for the ceiling. Most venues don't allow anything to be attached to the ceiling so check with the venue first to see what their restrictions are. The next thing you can do it bring down the lights and create a more intimate setting. Candles are always a winner no matter where they are. The idea is to get the attention away from the floor any focus on another potentially attractive area. Good luck to you and happy planning!

Girl that place is absolutely beautiful, and no one will notice the carpet!! Book it!

That dance floor is awesome. You can hardly see the carpet in the other photos, but the red isn't that noticeable. I think once your tables are dressed with your colors and your flowers, and the room fills up with people...the room will be dark...no worries! Book it girl, that place is awesome!

Thanks for all of the support!! I think that we are going to book it within the next couple of months unless we find a better location!! I have corresponded with the venue to let him know when our wedding is and we will check it out within the next couple of months to try and lock down the venue! We still have a ways to go, so I might have to wait until after Christmas, but I will definitely make sure he holds it for us!! Thanks again!

The dance floor is AMAZING!! I agree no one will notice the floor. Be careful waiting too long to book the venue though because you might not get that price. Having a 2010 wedding, they'll put up the prices again. If you love it then go for it!
