Possible Wedding Ring Regret

I just got married by paper but we had to postpone our destination wedding because of the pandemic 😢 (luckily my dad is an officiant and we were still even able to get married).

Now I LOVE the look of my wedding ring but I’m starting to realize how absolutely uncomfortable it is. It’s a blue sapphire enchanter/ ring guard and it pinches my skin constantly and rubs my other fingers. Along with leaving indentions in my skin where the stones are. It’s the correct ring size though. Does anyone else have that problem with a ring guard?
I brought up my concerns to my husband and he said if we needed to once our jeweler opens again we can see about exchanging it if I decide to go that route. But it breaks my heart too thinking about even exchanging it. Currently I’m wearing a fake wedding band I bought in the past under my engagement ring and it’s so comfy. Night and day difference.
Has anyone else exchanged their wedding band right after getting married?

I've been wearing my ring guard for about two weeks - we ditched my fake ring as soon as we were just going to be sitting around - and I haven't had those problems. However, my enhancer also is a quarter size bigger to allow for my finger to have some space to breathe. Maybe you need to look into that? Pics so we can see too!

See what your jeweler has to say about it. Maybe it’s something they can adjust or maybe you do just need to exchange. I see a lot of people get new rings for milestone anniversaries so I don’t think it’d be a big deal to change it out! The sentimental value would be my only concern if you’re not ready to let it go.

I used to work in a jewelry store, and that does happen! Check into the return/exchange policy and see if you can contact the place somehow. I know they won’t be open but a lot are still accessible through email.
