Plus Size Mother of the Bride Clothing

I nee some serious help. I'm trying to find my mother something to wear to the wedding. I need to do it quick otherwise she is planning on wearing a black pant suit. I'm cool with the plants just not the color black! Here is the issue my mother is a size 32W or 34W depending on the outfit (her words not mine). No one seems to go over a 30W! Do any of you ladies know of any websites or places that have nice clothing for plus size women? I would like to get her something in the purple of my BM dresses but I doubt that will happen. Could she wear white or is that against the wedding rules? I don't care about the fashion rule of no white after Labor Day. As far as I'm concern that applies to people who live in the north. We get snow but not in October!

You might check out Igigi.com. They do only plus sizes, and go up to size 32. (Their sizes are also quite generous--I take an 18 in normal clothing, but am a 12 over there.) And unlike a lot of plus sized dresses, theirs fit and flatter rather than looking like they were designed by Omar the Tent Maker. Below is a picture of the dress I wore for my son's wedding.

My mother is also a larger woman... she found a seamstress and is having a dress custom made. She is thrilled, and my mom hates getting gussied up and dress shopping.

My mom bought a dress from Macy's. It is Alex Evenings and is a plus size.

I highly recommend Kiyonna.com. My beautiful plus size mother has found many lovely dresses there and I think they're very stylish.

Try Roamans.com -- I think Catherine's stores carry up to 34, I know they do online

Alo maybe try Lane Bryant or The Avenue, both plus sized stores. Hopefully you find something that will make her feel wonderful and that you both love. Good luck

Thanks for the advice ladies. I'll look at all places and see what they have.

I tried having her a dress made but she didn't want that because she didn't want to spend the money and she didn't want me to spend it either.
