Plated Dinner- How many options are you giving your guests?

We have our tasting this Friday, and I am wondering how many choices we should give our guests, I feel like "chicken or beef" is pretty common, should we provide a vegetarian option, or would a fish option be ok? I feel like a majority of our guests will choose chicken or beef, but I do have 2...

I feel like a majority of our guests will choose chicken or beef, but I do have 2 guests that I know of that are vegetarians, but I have no idea if they can eat fish or not!

I would do a vegetarian dish instead of fish..

We're doing 3, a chicken dish, salmon, and eggplant parm.

Just a thought: people who don't eat a certain meat for religious or allergy/ sensitivity reasons won't be too happy with a duet plate, especially if the kitchen just picks the other meat off as many do.

Our venue says 2 choices, but I am pretty sure that means 2 meat choices, and I think they will also do a third vegetarian dish without charging. Need to check on that. I know they said they would do dietary needs at no charge.

I still can't decide what to offer though. All the choices we have sound awesome.

I have never heard of offering guests choices unless it a buffet. All of the venues around here just do alternate drop. So we are doing an alternate drop of chicken and lamb. Then of course there are people with dietary requirements who will have special meals, i.e. my mum will get fish, vegetarians will get vegetarian meals, lactose free etc...
