Plans for Nye?

Happy Birthday! We aren't doing anything.

Happy Birthday and Happy New Year!! My fiance and I are planning on staying home tonight, doing takeout from one of our favorite local restaurants, playing board games, and putting together a wine and cheese pairing for us to share.

We had planned to celebrate with a couple at their home, but since covid cases have spiraled out of control again we have all decided it would be safer to not get together. So now we will be doing takeout from a steak restaurant, snuggling up in PJs, and binge watching a show on Netflix with a bottle (or 3) of champagne. 🥂

Happy birthday! Normally my husband and I go outz but this year that won't be happening because of Covid so we plan on just relaxing at home. I imagine it will be this way for some time since we are expecting our first child and I don't think either one of us will want a drag a child out for New Year's Eve.

We normally go out to dinner for a tasting menu at a local restaurant and then come home and watch the ball drop.

This year, we're staying in of course, putting together some snack boards, and still watching the ball drop -- if we make it to midnight!

We will be home for NYE. Our state goes into lock down every night at 10:00 p.m. as part of Covid precautions, so it doesn't make for much of an outing.

Happy birthday! We’ve stayed in the last couple of NYEs so we’re doing something similar to last year. We’re getting food from a couple different local eateries and watching movies until it’s midnight and this old lady can go to bed. 😂 However, we did order an adult themed, NYE cake decorating kit from the bakery that we are getting our reception cake from, so I’m definitely looking forward to that!

We did Facetime with his family, then a Zoom secret santa, then DH went to bed because he's got work at 6:30AM, then I did a Zoom with some friends until ... 2AM?

And I'm still up and I should really go wash my hair and go to bed.
