The larger the wedding the more expensive it is going to be. I think you are going to have a difficult time spending $6,000 or less unless you are diying a lot of things or using newer vendors. I also hope the date you have listed of October 2025 is not accurate because 1. that doesn't give a lot of time for planning and 2. October is a popular wedding month so things are likely going to already be booked and more expensive since it is higher in demand. Choosing a date that is off season (typically Nov - Feb) will also help because things could be cheaper and you won't be fighting such a high demand. Also either a Friday or Sunday wedding might be cheaper as well since Saturday is the most common day for weddings and thus more expensive.

When it comes to the actual wedding planning I suggest creating your guest list first so you know approximately the number of guests you will be having. Next I would create a detailed budget breakdown. Next would be looking at venues. Once a venue is secured then you can move onto other vendors.

Similar boat. My advice prioritize top 2-3 categories of what you really want and shave where you can. It can still be beautiful!

FH wants 100-150 guest (I think less than 100 is ideal) our budget is $5000. Looking at City/County Civic centers for venue, Walmart/Sam's club for cake/cupcakes, DIYing alot of decor (glass vases, floating candles, faux flowers), minimal wedding party, no wedding favors, limited bar(beer, wine, soda, tea/lemonade, water). Photography/videography will probably have to be limited to 4-6 hours instead of the standard 8 hours. I'll be doing my own hair(wig) and makeup (I'm a Mary Kay consultant so I feel comfy doing my own makeup, although I'll be practicing my glam look).
I've had to pick my battles and let alot go...I wanted macaroons because we had them on one of our first dates but they are very expensive. I wanted a violinist or saxophonist for cocktail hour. I might even have to forego a day of coordinator and ask someone to give cues of when to walk during each song for the ceremony and allow the DJ to adhere to a timeline I give him for announcements during reception to keep the event flowing. I am a very organized person so I feel it should be fine.
    Good luck, Happy Planning!
