If you’re trying to keep the budget in check, favors are really not necessary. I personally wouldn’t use a candle holder I got from a wedding. If you really want to do favors, your best bet is something people can eat. I didn’t even want favors for my bridal shower but my mom and sister insisted and they got macaroons. They were delicious! But even my mom doesn’t use my brothers personalized stemless wineglass from their wedding, that stuff usually is never used again. Not knocking your plan, but you’ve mentioned budget so I thought I’d add that.
