Yes! Have planned everything! Doing my own centerpieces, designed my own invitations and save the dates along with a few other DIY projects! Starting to feel a bit stressed with all I have left to do!

Hahah yaaa it’s a lot more work than I thought!! About a month away so we’re finally getting to end of it but ya, not easy. I will say though, I think a lot of the stress was Covid-related. We got engaged when businesses had no business at all and then they all were overwhelmed with reopenings so it’s been a roller coaster. Hopefully worth it!!

Yes! I thought planning for only 40 would be easy! But it’s not at all. Unless we had decided to just go a dinner reception at a restaurant route. Which we didn’t haha so it’s practically normal
    planning.

Google says "A minimony is a sweet word to describe a smaller, more intimate wedding that takes place on your planned wedding date. It's a mini wedding ceremony. Most couples plan a minimony when they can no longer stage their grand wedding day on the same date."

Coined over the last 18 months with the crazy covid world! To me it means a small wedding ceremony (with or without a reception) with the "guest count" small most likely under 30 but in some cases it could be just the 2 of you an the officiant with or without live streaming to relatives/friends.

Some couples did this last year & are planning a much larger celebration either this year or next "depending".

We had our wedding almost a month ago, kept the invited guest count to under 50 with the actual RSVP count at 33 including us & a couple children ~ which for me with covid was as big as I wanted it to be even though we had a beach wedding with everything outside (despite precautions & invite inserts his brother & s-i-l WERE exposed (although they didn't KNOW it at the wedding) & came down with covid within a few days after the wedding ~ brother was the Best Man they have mostly recovered & no one else got sick! ~ most invited guests were vaccinated not that I requested it).

Planned mine by myself. As long as you have a wedding folder where you keep all your stuff organized, I didn't find it too difficult. It definitely got stressful time to time but in the end, I know it's going to be exactly what I wanted. I thought going back and forth with emails & a coordinator would be extra stress. You got this!

I'm planning mine on my own too! My one thing that has helped is making lists, lists and lists. From budget, to timelines, to set-up etc. I use a lot of spreadsheets too. It can get over-whelming at times, especially since I have no family or friends helping but I just have a little cry session and I'm good lol. I think once I see everything come together, I'm going to feel such a high of satisfaction. I also recommend taking time to really enjoy it all. Time flies and that day will too. Enjoy and absorb every minute of it. Good Luck!

I planned my whole wedding by myself! I wouldn’t do it any other way. I would say— find a friend, or distant family member (maybe a cousin) that would be willing to run around the day of for you. NOT a bridesmaid or any immediate family as that day should be for you and your specials! Google forms really helped me— along with wedding wire! You can do it! Feel free to message me for any other tips I would love to share❤️ Attached a couple pictures of my wedding for reference! I also stayed under $9k for the whole thing- including lodging!Planning your own wedding? 1

We planned it . If you have room in your budget then I would recommend it . If you have enough time on your hands and support, then you should be fine.
