Planning Stress

Alyssa, on July 17, 2019 at 12:45 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
Ever since I got all of my vendors booked I have no motivation for planning. My wedding is 3 months away and every time I start trying to do things for it I get so stressed/flustered and just stop before I accomplish anything. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what helped? I’m just so overwhelmed at this point.

Try to just focus on one thing at a time. I know it is easier said then done, but mine is just under 3 months away and I just pick something, for example I just sent out invitations, so I focused on just that and let go of the rest. It helps me to feel less overwhelmed! Next I will be focusing on getting vases for decor. That is all until I get that accomplished! Set realistic goals for yourself and focus on one thing at a time! It will all be worth it when the day comes Smiley smile Good luck!

I agree with Brianna, try and tackle one thing at a time!! And also try to enjoy it, after all this should be an exciting time and as we all know things can go wrong but don’t let it stress you... have a glass of wine and enjoy your planning

I’ve got the day off and I’m gonna try to just check one thing off at a time. Thank you ladies so much!

The same thing happened to me. I got very overwhelmed and honestly, I didn't want to ask for help. Once I told some of my bridesmaids how I was feeling, they jumped in to help me make lists and that really helped to be able to see it all written down and to be able to check things off of a list!

This happened to me too! Our venue fell through after we had booked it, 3 months before the wedding and we had to start over. I was so frustrated and disappointed- I didn’t want to think about the wedding at all. But my fiancé and I took a few days off and decided no wedding talk at all- went on a nice date and just regrouped. After that, I was back in it full force, and now I couldn’t be more excited! Just step away for a few days and come back with a clear mind
