Planning Limbo! Feeling restless

Jennifer , on February 19, 2020 at 3:09 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

I am sure there are many discussions about this but I didn't know what words to search exactly lol But my wedding is March 14th and I have been so occupied with all the planning and most of it is all done now. I also have a wedding coordinator now who has taken over and now I am just like.... NOW WHAT??? I think the not having as much to do is making me more anxious than when I knew I had tons to do! haha

Am i forgetting something? (Rhetorical) I have checked most things off of my to do list but there has to be something I am forgetting. Anyone else have the feeling like they need to be doing SOMETHING wedding related in the planning at all times? I even started looking up wedding dress preservation to feel like I am working on something haha Anyway, this is mainly just me venting. I feel like I need a new hobby to help me countdown until 3/14th!

Lol!!! I started planning 19 months before and I have very few things to do so I keep adding things for myself to do 😂😂😂. I don’t know what I’m going to do in a month or two when I really don’t have much left 😩.

I started 2 years out!!! haha I got all the big vendors booked a year out. Everyone thought I was crazy but I figured if I can start slowly I wont feel rushed and I can take my time. Well it's less than a month away and I think not having anything now is like "what do I do with my life??" haha

Since you're less than a month out, I'd start finalizing things. Making lists for your coordinator/decorator of what decor goes where, writing thank you notes to vendors, writing a letter for the groom the day of, packing for the weekend & honeymoon, finalizing schedules with vendors, getting your ring & other jewelry cleaned, wearing in your shoes, etc.

Great advice! After reading this I realized I needed to update my to do list and get a bit more detailed with it regarding the little things. I also made a list if the items I need to give to our planner at the rehearsal dinner (gift table decor, guest sign in items, etc as I typed this I realized I forgot to add the cake cutting set to that list). And I never even thought of thank you notes for the vendors! Thanks!!
