Planning around a deployment

Is there anyone out there planning a wedding who has a loved one who is in the military? I am going to plan my wedding around my brothers deployments, since I really want him at my wedding. Has anyone done this before or is anyone in the middle of doing this right now? If so is there any advice I could use? It seems hard right now planning the wedding around his deployment so he can be at the wedding.

My venue told me if my fiancé gets deployed we can change our date within the calendar year

I was in a wedding in 2017, the bride planned it in 7 months assuming he wouldn't be deployed by then. He deployed around 8 months after they got married. I'd just talk to your brother, but regardless it will be a quick turn around for you.

Thank you, I figured it would be a short time to plan the wedding. I know he is deployed right now, so I am hoping after he gets back we will have a better idea on his next deployment schedule ruffle when it will be.
