Planning a Anime Themed Wedding....PLEASE HELP

What anime are you thinking?

Miyazaki films, Inuyasha, Naruto, Gundam, Rounori Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Sailor Moon and etc.

No advice, but just wanted to say this sounds awesome

Thank you! We wanted our wedding to be unique.

Each table could be, instead of a number, a different Miyazaki film, or you could try to include "Shikon jewels" in each table decoration. My advice would be if you decide to do this choose maybe one or two anime and sneak details in, but don't do several different anime and don't be too crazy about it, because someone might not appreciate it like you and your FH do.

I told my FH about your idea and he thinks its awesome! He's a big Naruto fan and I have no concept of anime! He also suggested narrowing it down to only one or two of your options.

That sounds really fun ! .. you could maybe get an artist to draw you both as anime characters (have your own one page cute mushy of how he proposed or something?)

don't know how you can incorporate the themes for all the anime you said.(they are all a bit different from one another)

We're doing a comic con themed wedding. For everyone who gets it, they'll get it. To everyone else it will be a traditional wedding with some odd little bits and baubs. We got our Save the Dates at geekvites.com. I'm not sure if they have any anime, but it might be a good place to start. If you have any artistic friends you could have them do a design you can upload to vistaprint, too.

We're pulling all the sci fi things we love together, like a TARDIS photobooth, a sci fi themed cake, and our table decorations are lanterns with pictures back lit in the panes of glass of our favorite sci fi couples. Each table will me named after a place in the film, like the Shire, Hogwarts, and Gallifrey.

Our groomsmen are wearing ties with our favorite fandoms, and my BMs will have matching jewelry.

If you got to an anime or comic con, you can find all kinds of little things themed for your wedding. Guest books, ties (traditional and bow ties), garters, etc. Good luck. I hope you can reappropriate some of our ideas for yourself.

Can you condense /hide a thread? Having two separate threads for the exact same topic is cluttering and confusing.
