Place cards

Those are cute, but are actually called escort cards. Place cards are used to assign seats and are already placed at each place setting ("place" guests at their seats). Escort cards are used to assign tables ("escort" guests to table).

We used personalized ornaments as our escort cards that also served as one of the favors we gave our guests.

I think they’re cute whether you use them as place cards, escort cards or both. You could also get small gourds if you wanted to switch up the pumpkins and give it variety. On the back of the tags I would write “take me home” or something so people know to take them. I’m sure there’s something cute you could find on Pinterest to write.
