Picture frame size wedding signs

Jolie, on March 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

What is everyone doing for tabletop signs? For instance "unplugged ceremony". Is it easier to just get a template on etsy for like $2-5 or just download fonts and make your own? I guess I don't need a full on wood sign I could just get a nice frame. Thoughts? Has anyone found actual vinyls of the unplugged ceremony sign for sale?

For our unplugged ceremony sign, FH is DIY them. We bought the wood from Lowes, and he will sand / stain it. He has a vinyl machine at work, and plans to make the lettering there. If you have some sort of vinyl machine (cricut or silhouette) then you can totally DIY. Otherwise, I'd order a vinyl sticker from somewhere like Etsy or stickermule, and make your own that way. You can get frames from Michaels. OR you can just buy a premade sign off of Etsy.

Amazon and Etsy both have the unplugged ceremony decal or vinyl. They get pretty pricey the bigger you go, but it's an option. If you know of someone with a machine, maybe ask what they would charge compared to what you find online.

You could also just print a picture of the wording you want and frame that as well.

For the most part I've been just printing my own, with the exception of the larger 11x14 signs we have. We have 2 of those - one I bought a printable off Etsy, and the other I created myself for our menu. I had Zazzle print both for us.

I bought sign templates on Etsy when they were on sale with a particular vendor for 70% off each so I only spend about $3 per sign. I wanted them all to match fonts/styles. They need 8x10 frames, so I’m thinking of buying frames that will all match so I can use them in our house after the wedding, perhaps make a gallery wall. I only have 5 or 6 signs to print. I’ll print them on nice card stock, too. I’ll probably check out Michaels for frames or just buy some from ikea and spray paint them.

That's great! Do you remember the seller you used on Etsy? I get them wanting to match! $3 isn't a big issue for me it's just way more to buy a vinyl of it which I don't think I would really want to do. I could add any type of background (like a wood grain) to the paper I print too and if need be take it to like Staples that would have a better printing quality! You could check hobby lobby too for frames I know they have sales a lot or even Target has had some nice frames!

Good idea! I was thinking like Staples to print but Zazzle is def an option too! Since this is just a little sign for me I don't want to spend and arm and a leg on a vinyl. The bigger sign I want I am gonna get a vinyl made at a shop or see if etsy has a reasonable price for it

The seller is ViolaMirabilisDesign. She often has great sales on her designs, I just favorited what I wanted and waited for the email from Etsy telling me it was on sale! That’s a great idea to have them printed at Staples.. I’m going to do that for my large welcome sign but I didn’t even think to do it for the rest so they’re good quality.
