Photos with Wedding Invitations?

Sooo I fell really behind and ended up never ordering my save the dates (ugh 😞) so I decided I wanna skip them completely since now is the time I should be sending out the actual wedding invites.
My mom wants me to include at least one of our engagement photos, since we didn’t send our save the dates (which would have included photos). I don’t necessarily want them ON the invites, but would it look weird or ridiculous if I just included a photo of my fiancé and I along with the wedding invites?

I didn't do save the dates
I did, however, put a picture on my invite!
Also we got married 11.6.21 not 10.23.21 (this was the original date)

It was a folded invite btw!

We sent Christmas cards this year, because we also didn’t do STD. I’m addition, I’m using one on our thank you card. The thank you card has our photo in the front and then we can write the personal image inside. I don’t want them on the wedding invite, so this was my way of figuring out how to share them.

We sent the invatitions, with a photo of pictures from our engagement pictures all together. I think that's fine.

I like devotedlydavis' idea of using photos on your Thank You cards or sending out Christmas cards. If you are having a less formal wedding, a photo on the actual invitation would be fine, but typically invitations should be more formal. And sticking a photo in the invitation suite would be a little odd.

Thank you so much! And actually my husband's cousin made our invites lol. Apparently she just made it all through Microsoft. So, I'm guessing she was able to adjust it accordingly to print it out the way it should on the invites. And I think she just bought the cards online (most likely Amazon).
