Photographer not responding post wedding

Natalie, on January 13, 2020 at 8:37 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

Hi everyone,

I got married mid-Sep and the photography contract said 6-12 week timeline for delivery. It's now been 17+ weeks and I have yet to receive my photos. I have contacted the photographer numerous times and she has over-promised numerous times as well (i.e. "The photos are all ready and I just need to upload them. It will be this week or next" -- said on week 11).

At this point, obviously, I could ask for my money back, but that's not what I want. I want the photos because they cannot be recreated.

Looking for any advice anyone else has on how to deal with this situation.

"It has been over 17 weeks since our wedding and, per our contract, we should have received our photos within 12 weeks. If we do not receive them this week, we will seek legal action."

Exactly what Caytlyn said. This is extremely rude and unprofessional of them. You had an agreement and they need to honor that. I'd give them a week and if you still don't have them, contact a lawyer.

What the pp's said and then leave reviews warning other people of their actions.

I definitely will leave an honest review. I read so many when planning and thought I had picked a good team :-/

Yep, just trying to avoid threats because I don’t want anything to happen to our photos.

That's so tough! I see your other response about not wanting anything to happen to your photos. I'm not sure what I would do. I'm so sorry!
