I’m definitely doing a photo booth. The photographers won’t capture everyone. They be focusing more on the bride and groom. Having a booth allows others to have more fun and be goofy. As well as take a family photo which the bride and groom will also get a copy of every photo taking. And so will the guests

Definitely overrated. They’re a cute idea, but it’s a costly expensive that’s completely unnecessary.

I think it depends on your crowd.

Quiet people might not like them.

Lively people will have fun in them.

Overrated, to me it’s an extra expense that could be used on other things of value at the wedding. Spend more on more import areas.

Underrated, I think they are a cute idea. I think I am going to have one, but haven’t decided for sure yet, since it is a extra cost.

Depends on the vibe you're going for. It doesn't make sense for us, however, I would consider one for a future event if it's a fun touch that guests would enjoy!

It’s definitely probably overrated but we’re having one and I’m very happy about it. We got it for a really great deal at a bridal show and got to test it out first so it’ll be fun to see all the silly pics people take all night

We’re having one at the wedding.
Photographer photos can be so structured and posed. Sometimes you don’t get to see your guests for who they really are. The photo booth gives guests the opportunity to have a little fun as well as take a memory home.

Overrated. My sister had a photo booth at her wedding and the majority of people were off the dance floor and in line for it the whole night. So for our wedding we decided against it. The dance floor was packed all night and we had a lot of guests say it was the most fun they had at a wedding in a long time!

I think they are super fun! But knowing everyone brings a cellphone to the wedding/reception and are going to take selfies and pictures together I think I rather do a fancy/fun backdrop with props to save money!

Probably overrated but we DIY'd ours so it only costs $50 and our guests are very excited about it.

Overrated. We have this pretty wall area near the 2nd floor bar at the reception and I'm going to set up a selfie station with some props and a selfie stick. Maybe have our hashtag hung on the wall.

Over-rated - I think they keep guests distracted from enjoying the reception experience. I hired a DJ who knows how to get a party going and that's what I want for my guests, a party, not a gazillion side-show distractions.
