Photo Booth - Yea or Nay?

How do you feel about photo booths? Do you love this modern wedding tradition? Or would you rather use your budget elsewhere?

Will you have a photo booth? Yea or Nay?

Yea. I wanted this. It's interactive and something to do

I've been to several weddings where people didn't really use the photo booth, so I think we are going to skip this. Instead, we plan on getting 8 or so Instax cameras with lots of film that guests can pass around. We hope to collect some of the photos, but it's okay if they take them, too. We also think the kids and younger teens at our wedding will really enjoy getting to play photographer.

Nay, we wanted one at first but want people dancing more. So we felt it would take away from that aspect of the reception.

Nay. I’m into more candid photos so I’m having several people snap them during the reception and after party...besides my photographer.

We knew many of our guests might not be able to last on the dance floor so this was a yes for us, but we did a DIY selfie station and it was a hit. We saved the money we would have spent and guests enjoyed playing with the props we had available. Some of my favorite pictures of my parents are from the camera we set up for the selfie station.

Nay. We may do a type of photo opp, but nothing formal with props and cameras and stuff.

Yea! We already know who we're going to book with and it's fairly priced. I just hope we can book him for our date before someone else does.

I actually created a different type of photo booth. Our wedding venue was all open so you have full access to ceremony, cocktail and reception at all times all night long. We decided to reuse the arch from ceremony and move it a bit, add a couch and some logs and candle on the side and turn it into our photo booth.

Yea! We get it as part of our DJ package, and I'm so excited!! Guests will get to take home their little film strip as a souvenir!

I want to have a photo booth but it depends on how much we have left after getting the big stuff out the way

We thought about it but decided not to do a photo booth that way people could be more in the moment and no one starts hogging the booth.

I had a really hard time at making this decision. After looking at prices, I decided to make my own photo booth by using Polaroid cameras! Super fun and a cheap way of having a photo booth.

I think we may have a wall to take pictures in front of but not necessarily a photo booth.

We won't be having one. For us, 1. It's an extra expense and, 2. It just isn't really our thing.

Yea, as long as we can find one that won't be too expensive. We have so many other things going on during the wedding that I don't think it's a necessity, but it would be fun to include.
