Petite wedding dresses

Also, most wedding dresses are made to be altered, so feel free to go to any bridal shop, and ask for the dresses that come in petite. They'll direct you to the right designers, and pin the samples up on you so they'll look right.

(I'm also petite, and I did a sample sale from Kleinfeld's. They had those clips that would hold the dress in the back, so I could see the front at the right 'size'.)

Hi Brnayann! Have you started shopping and trying on gowns yet? I’d use the search below to find local bridal stores who carry designers you like, and you can give them a call as well to check that they’ll be able to accommodate petite sizing:

I've started looking online for styles and designers I like but I have not actually gone to try any on just yet.

I am also petite. I have ordered several different dresses online to try on at home and I have have much more luck with prom dresses! They just fit my body type overall much better than bridal gowns have, and there are so many styles out there that look JUST like wedding dresses. Also, much more budget friendly 😉
