Pet Names

We don't really have pet names. But I almost never say his name properly. Byron is always turned into By-rone (pronounced like Tyrone), Byronman, By-roneman.

He calls me "it" a lot. Instead of "are you tired?" he might say "Is it tired", "is it hungry"?

Other than the classic boo or booboo we call each other habibi which is Arabic for sweetheart. I worked with a lot of Arabic speakers at my first job.

I say Joe-Joe pretty often. He calls me Kelleanor. We have friends who call each other "poops" and it drives me nuts, but they moved far away and we don't have to hear it anymore.

We call each other darling.

He calls me Angel.

I call him Batman. Jokingly though. We will be out somewhere and he does something stupid, and I say "well your Batman you can get away with it" We really have no life lol & Babe mostly. I only use his name when I want something or I am being impatient

I definitely thought this was to get ideas for a pet!

We mostly say babe/baby and in texts say princess and knight in shining armor lol. But I also call him wacky (his family calls him wacky zacky sometimes and I thought it was the best name in the world when I first heard it). And he calls me Jar Jar (stemming from his mom who calls me JaJa like Jaja Gabor).

Also, some people call me trolleena.. lol. One of his friends just shortened it to troll.

Mutual: Babe, Babes, Beebs, Baby, My love.

Mine for him: My sun and stars, Moon of my life, My lion. (Yes, We are Game of Thrones Nerds.) I also call him my Weirdy Beardy man. (IT Crowd reference.) Oh, and occasionally, I'll throw in "Habibi", which is Arabic for beloved/baby/love.

His for me: He has recently started calling me "Hon Bun" which I love and think is adorable. He calls me his lioness, and once in a while: Mo shíorghrá, which is Gaelic for My Eternal Love.

If I'm being stubborn, I'm "butt monkey." which we both call our dog, when he's being a jerk. lol

We are pretty boring lol. Babe is most common. He calls me Jul and I call him JimBob

I wouldn't call this a pet name, but my niece started calling my FH (Frank) "Frankasauraus Rex" just out of the blue. So.. now I started calling him that because I thought it was funny

Like the others babe is pretty much habit for us to the point where sometimes I'll throw in his real name (i.e I love you Adam) and he thinks it sounds weird. Sex-muffin is another big one, not usually in crowds but in texts or when we get home from work "Hey Sex-muffin, how was your day!?"

We call each other: babe, baby, lovebug, hun, buttface etc.

Babe. Sometimes he calls me finance when he's being annoying (he spelled fiance wrong one day and wrote finance by mistake), doll or hun.

Outside of the usual babe.... FH is a little goofy, and he has a love for pet names, so I have a lot and they change every 6 months or so. One that has lasted a long time is Schmoopy butt. I have no idea what it means or where it came from, but he looks and sounds so cute when he says it, haha. Mine aren't as creative, but I call him Love, Mr.Love, Love 'n Stuff, Lovekins, etc...

We have also become one of those couples where I think we sound like crazy old people because we call each other Mama and Daddy. But this is usually when we are referring to each other while talking to our dog.

Honey, that's besides all the rude ones! He calls me sexy bum, and I call everyone I love, ie, the kids and him, Pooch. No idea why!

I call him "Hubs" and he calls me "WiFi" (he works in IT...sort of a geeky spin on the word wife).

I call him weasel and he calls me chief or meatball. I never call him by his real name though lol it's always a nick name, even if it just pops into my head. I do the same with my dog. Whatever I'm thinking/feeling comes out

I call him babe, baby, sweetie, hunny, and he calls me baby, babe, and princess.

I call him babe or sometimes monkey.

He calls me babe and cutie-pie.

He calls me 'mein frau' which is German for my wife.

I call him Babe & Honey. He calls me Babe, Little Bean and BooBooSon .... Don't ask. Bean is his last name and BooBooSon is something he pulled out of his ass. Hahah.

ETA - @Yasmin - he also calls me Moon of his life and he is my Sun and Stars!
