What did you do, or what will you do, with your pet during your wedding?

Our cat is road tripping with us and staying at the FILs house. It's 5 minutes from the hotel some can still be sure she's being fed and taken care of.

We were lucky enough to have a wedding venue that allows dogs =) our pups are going to be in the ceremony, and for the reception they have the option of hanging outside the venue with the cop or we can take them back to our pet friendly hotel (Hotel is about 5 mins away from the venue)

if that is not an option,I would look into boarding them for the night

We hired our usually pet sitter, she will take our dog Thursday evening (we check into the hotel then) and bring her to our wedding Saturday for the ceremony & pictures, then take her home and keep her until the following Monday for our honeymoon.

Grace (dog) is going to her "hotel" for the 4 days during the wedding festivities. As much as I will miss her, there will be too much going on to properly watch her and she loves it there anyway!

We are boarding our 3 beasts. We have a 10 y/o short hair pointer mix (55 lbs), a 4 y/o German Shephard/lab mix (70 lbs), and a 1 y/o lab/besenji mix (55 lbs). Everyone that I would trust with handling them will be at the wedding (they are well behaved *most of the time* but sometimes their energy gets the best of them). We have a place about 20 minutes from the house that runs as a doggy day care. They are out and running around with up to 60 other dogs all day across 1/2 an acre inside and out. At night the 3 of them get to sleep in a room for just them. It's really ideal cause the baby is afraid of everything (she wouldn't even go in the grass when we first got her) and the 4 y/o is like her safety blanket, as long as he is with her she is okay. They also have cameras all over the facility so we can check on them with an app on our phones. They were there for a long weekend last year and they really seemed to enjoy it.

That sounds like a great place! I think we will look into boarding for him. We are going to Hawaii this summer for a week, but he won't be boarded because my brother offered to keep him. So our wedding will probably be the first time we board him! And we will only really need it for one or two nights, so hopefully he does ok

We are taking our pups to be boarded. They usually got there for day care and it will be the first time they stay over night. Their hotel allows us to check in on them at night or during the day. At night they are in their “room” and during the day they play with their friends.

I'm going to board my dog probably the night before the wedding (so, Friday night) and pick her back up on Sunday. She'll spend two nights at the doggie hotel. Then, for our honeymoon, my parents will watch her to save me a little cash (plus, I know she'll get lots of attention there). I thought about just dropping her off on the way to the wedding, but I'll have my dress, decor, etc in my car and I don't want the dog ruining it.. and I want a good nights sleep before the wedding!

As soon as people start showing up at my house. (FH is ex-military and has friends coming from every where, they are staying at our place instead of motels) my 4 legged children will be going to my moms house and staying until we return from our honeymoon two weeks later. And my sister will be taking care of my chicken while I'm gone

I have 3 kitties that will stay home and have either our neighbor (if she’s in town) or a sitter come and feed and check up on them 😊

We were lucky enough to have a family friend willing to help us out last minute. Before that miracle happened, doggerz was going to be the occupant of our 1 remaining hotel room from the hotel block, which was only a mile from the venue. She is a rescue who doesn't do well around other animals, so yes, I was actually that desperate LOL
