I absolutely love my venue. I'm just looking for opinions (and to vent). So it's costing $4500 to book plus $650 to have the ceremony on site. In addition they want to charge $350 to use the Bridal suite. They only have one event per day so I feel like the empty room shouldn't cost more? Is anyone else paying for their Bridal suite? Shouldn't it be included? I tried to discuss it with the woman and she said if I don't want to pay for it I can have it for 20 minutes prior to the ceremony. It's just frustrating that I'm paying ~30k for this whole thing and she isn't willing to work with me at all. Is it worth bringing up again?

I hate venues that try to nickel and dime you just because they can. I looked at a venue like that and it was an immediate no.

It should be included....i have never heard of any place charging to use a bridal suite...it seems unfair....i would talk to the venue

I have to pay extra for mine. But it wasn't much much like$50 I think.

Our venue is one event per day, and our bridal suite is included. Try negotiating, good luck!

Every venue I have looked into includes bridal suite. Those are insane prices. I would say try to negotiate and be super, super mindful of your contract with them and other vendors.

OP, my wedding was kinda near yours (on the North Shore MA actually) and basically everywhere we looked charged you separately for the bridal suite in some way or another. I wonder if it's an area thing...

That is really annoying. My bridal suite is included with my venue. Try to ask them about it again closer to your wedding. Does the bridal suite also come with a bridal attendant?

Lindsey we did because I want my girls to have a place to go and for pictures. But I'm still not happy about it haha. They also just made a brand new bar outside that can be used for cocktail hour and of course if we want to use that it's $500.... not sure why it costs extra to have cocktail hour outside as opposed to inside. We will not be paying for that!
