Hello everyone,
So we had gone to the jewelers to get my engagement ring cleaned and measured because I was going to get a custom ring on Etsy to fit my engagement ring. While we were there I got swept up by the jeweler and ended up buying the wedding ring in the photo. FH and I thought it was a beautiful wedding ring and I was so excited but now that I have it home and I tried it on I’m worried that I might have gotten swept up in the hype and that it looks tacky against my engagement ring. I’m afraid that when all the hype is over I’ll regret the match. Hence the panic 🙇🏻‍♀️. Please, in all truth, do the rings together look tacky/overdone?
I can always go back and return it. My panicked brain and I would really appreciate any truth or advice you may give.

    I think it’s unique! Honestly, keep it if you love it or return it if you don’t. You should love your ring! I love mine. Would everyone love it? Probably not. I think many rings out there are quite tacky… but everyone has different taste. 💍

    I think it's a really nice match for your engagement ring. Is it classic, timeless etc? Probably not, but does that really matter? Everything dates for one reason or another! They look lovely together and if you like them, that is what should be the most important thing!

    I think it’s really pretty and not tacky at all. And I have an aversion to “busy” jewelry. This is such a great pair, though, it’s classy!

    I think the rings look great together!

    I ended up ordering a custom contoured wedding band to match my engagement ring (from the company my husband ordered my ring from) and I don't care for it. I feel like my engagement ring is beautiful and delicate and my band, which is plain 10k rose gold and the same thickness as my e-ring, just looks clunky next to it. If you like this combo, I say keep it! There is no substitute for actually getting to try your rings on together and seeing what they look like paired. I figured ordering from the same company was the best way to ensure the rings would go well together, but don't think I would have selected my wedding band had I actually seen it side-by-side with my engagement ring.

    They look very nice together. I don't thing they clash at all or are overdone. It is not, however, a 'classic' pairing of a glitzy engagement ring and a plain metal band. If you want to keep the it and then also have a simpler metal band you can swap it with on occasion, that is always an option.

    They are absolutely beautiful!!! I'm a plain jane so I got a super simple band but if that's the style you like I say it's a keeper.

    My opinion is that it is so beautiful and matches your engagement ring perfectly! I don’t think this is tacky at all. I think that it enhances your engagement ring which is definitely a perk. But if you don’t like it and are unhappy with it, that’s a different story. You being happy with it and loving it is what matters the most

    Thank you everyone so much for your responses. 💕 I’m much better now. I sat with them and the love that came off of the rings and the experience attached to them and all your kind comments and reassurance really helped my crazy brain calm down. I do love the pair together, I think it was just my personal insecurities shoving their way out that made me panic, but I’m okay. 🥰 thank you again everyone, I can’t wait to wear them together when we get married 🤩

    I'm going to be the bad guy and say that I don't care for it. I wouldn't normally say it, but I'm taking you at your word that you want opinions and you said that you can return it. To me it looks like one of those rings that's made to look like a tiara, which I think look like something for a child not a grown married woman. I also have to say that when you get your ring you should be feeling ALL the feels, not having to talk yourself into liking it. If you're not usually the type to have buyers remorse then I'd say it's a sign that it's not the right one.

    I think they go together well. The gap in between would bother me though. If that doesn’t bother you than I think you have a lovely set! Very delicate and pretty for sure.
