Pandora wedding bands?

futurehappybride, on April 19, 2018 at 7:35 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
Hey everyone!

My FH and I decided that our wedding bands were the one thing we really didn't want to spend a lot of money on, We went to zales and had a very bad experience with some really awful sales people. So then we decided to check out the Piercing Pagoda and, to my surprise, they actually had some very nice options for a good price. We bought our bands and now I saw that Pandora has "stackable rings" that could 100% pass as wedding bands and people have been using them as such. The prices are fantastic, granted the stones are CZ, but that doesn't matter to me (the piercing pagoda ring is real diamonds btw). What I'm afraid of is if the Sterling silver will tarnish, but this is Pandora, it's gotta be good quality right? Does anyone have experience with the Pandora rings?

Pandora rings do really well with not tarnishing if you take really good care of them! No wearing it while working out, swimming, showering, sleeping things of that nature. You also need to clean them regularly and keep them in a Pandora tarnish free bag when you take them off. Coming from a pandora owner and former employee.

I think you could find pretty inexpensive options if you look for plain bands at local jewelers. The white gold band I want is about $120.

With the SS, I’d just be worried about having to replace them, but I’m into the whole symbolism and sentiment of having the rings forever. If you don’t care as much about that, go for it! Honestly people replace their rings all the time when they are lost or stolen, so.

In time, even with good care it likely will tarnish. You need to ask yourself, if this were to happen would you be okay with having to replace your wedding band? For me, I’m sentimental and I wouldn’t be, but for others it’s not a big deal.

Thank you everyone for your input! I decided to keep the ring I got at Piercing Pagoda, because I'll forget to take off the ring too often for my own good! This is a pic from the day I bought it (I didn't want to take it off lol).

I will say I have several Pandora rings that I wore for 2 years straight and never had a problem with tarnishing, however, (a somewhat biased opinion since I work for the company) piercing pagoda really offers diamonds for an affordable price and with gold you will be good for a lifetime if you keep up with the cleaning. Congratulations, your set looks amazing!

I have a SS ring and I’ve been wearing it for a year and someone had it before me. I don’t have any problems with it rubbing off and it really doesn’t have any scratches either. We got my wedding band in SS as well.
