Padrinos (hispanic Wedding Traditions)

Nancy, on October 30, 2019 at 2:19 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

Has anyone done any padrino/madrina proposal boxes? (this is a hispanic wedding tradition) I'm sticking with Padrino's strictly for the church part. And I'm wanting to do something special when I ask if they would like to be apart of the tradition but i'm out of ideas... I would love to hear or see what you all have done!

My padrino (uncle) is reading the Prayers of the Faithful. I’m also asking him to dance with me at the reception. What were you thinking of asking?

I guess I was wanting to ask them in a special way if they would be our padrinos.

    Hey Nancy!

Have you thought about who you would like to ask to be your padrinos for your wedding ceremony? I’m sure they will be honored to be asked to have such a special role.

When considering what gift them in a proposal box, you could consider their interests and buy them something that you know they would like.
