Overskirt / Detachable Skirt

Does anyone have an overskirt or detachable skirt for their wedding dress? I am 90% sure I want one to go over my Stella York Style #6589 for the ceremony but I would love to see some ideas for one. I always imagined a flowy satin dress and although I love my dress I just cant stop thinking of my dream dress. I think an overskirt would be the best of both worlds.

So if you have one, please post! And if you don't mind please share the price as well, I cant justify paying over a grand for one myself.

Hi RHK! I went and looked up what your dress looks like, it's beautiful!! I have seen a rise in this trend of having a detachable skirt and I love it! I agree, you get the best of both worlds! Would you wear the overskirt for the ceremony? I found some great threads where other engaged couples shared where they found some good detachable skirts, I linked it below! I hope it helps!!

I'm wearing a second skirt for the ceremony! Honestly though, I got mine off Amazon, just a plain white tulle skirt with an elastic waist band. I bought a belt to cover it. Can't figure out how to add pictures...

I did! My dress was an allure silk mikado trumpet with a tulle Watters overskirt!
And I removed it and wore a rhinstone belt from amazon for the reception!

I too always imagined myself in a satin dress, but fell in love with a stella york as well! Style #6291 though! Your dress is gorgeous, btw. I found a satin looking dress overskirt on etsy! And there are a bunch of tulle ones on there as well, so you can look there!

I didnt even know that overskirts were a thing, and I kind of want one now! Especially since my train is so boring and I could get an overskirt to jazz it up!
