Outside weddings

I’d love to do an outdoor wedding but I’m afraid that it might rain or even snow. Our date is April 1 2023 and it is not unheard of to have snow in April. I wouldn’t even know what to do if either happened.

I would book a venue that offers multiple options because yes it’ll be miserable if it’s raining or snowing

I agree with the pp and make sure your photographer knows how to handle different weather. We get rain here in FL and it can happen any time and the photographer I am interested in knows how to handle rain or shine or overcast.

I am planning on an outdoor wedding, but if it rains my venue will switch everything Indoors. I would recommend looking at venues that have both options, and both that you love! I love the indoor and outdoor option at mine so it took away that stress of weather in case it is bad the day of.

Find a venue that has a rain plan.

Definitely choose a venue with a weather back-up plan. The week of our wedding...SUN. The week after our wedding...SUN. The day of our wedding and almost entire mini-moon? RAIN. 🌧😑 But we had multiple back-up spots on property and the one we chose worked out even better! 😁 ❤️
