Outdoor Wedding in Savannah, GA in December?

While I can't attest to the weather down there in December I've been to Savannah twice and loved it!

We live NC, and have family in GA-- it does get cold down there! HOWEVER! That doesnt mean you cant have an outdoor ceremony; there are a lot of impoves. you could do to help keep you warm while still keeping it tasteful. Like a red cloak, or something instead of a veil.

Ive seen pics of people doing winter outdoor ceremonies, so dont worry

I love Savannah! That is where we just spent part of our honeymoon. I lived in Northern GA and I know it can get down to about 32 degrees in the winter, but then again, one Christmas I wore shorts. If you don't mind possible 30's then it would be ok.

I live in southern GA and its usually around 65-70 come christmas time. So I don't think too cold. I would do an indoor reception, just incase.

Here in Fla., we frequently get a cold snap the week between Christmas & New Years.

But, you can have those portable kerosene outdoor heaters -- they throw off a lot of heat.

Stumbled upon your post. Did you happen to have your outdoor December wedding? We are planning a rooftop based reception and are concerned about weather in December in Savannah. If you did, did you use anything besides heaters and blankets to warm up guests?
