Other options for a formal wedding than a photo booth and candy bar

Brittany, on August 21, 2020 at 11:45 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 14

With COVID, my venue might not allow a photo booth and candy bar. What would you suggest for a formal event to have entertainment-wise during cocktail hour and throughout the wedding?? I have seen people do fun lawn games, beer pong, and more laid back options but my event is formal and I will have people in masquerade masks and long dresses and tuxes. Do you have any suggestions on other entertainment or activities people can do other than talk, the bar, and appetizers? My wedding is on Halloween and I wanted to do something with that theme I am just having issues coming up with something! Thank you in advance!!

I was at a wedding before that had a magician!

so maybe you can find entertainment via that route? magician... dancer... singer, etc?

On thebash.com you can hire entertainment in your area. Maybe a magician or fortune teller.

Melle, a magician sounds awesome!! Hmmm that might be the route we gotta take!! What did people do at masquerade balls back when they were popular? Thank you!

Masquerade balls are still popular in Europe. From what I have read about them, there is some type of music, people mingle (in this case at their tables), and there may be other active entertainment (magician, etc).

A tarot reader would be awesome, especially for a masquerade Halloween wedding!
