Ordered an Online wedding dress anyone??

“Online” is too vague to get you a helpful answer. Some sites are totally reputable, some are complete knock offs, and some are hit or miss. What website did you use?

Anytime a website has cheap, affordable or some other sense of how great their prices are in the address I really dig into the reviews. In this case they seem to have some good reviews, but I would be worried that the positive reviews are written very choppy, that it's a site from China, and they have been caught selling knock off prom dresses.

Hopefully you have a better experience but I wouldn't return your first dress just yet. Or if you really don't like your first dress, there are several legit websites with affordable dresses that you can check out. Just do a quick search through the forums here and you'll find lots of info on where to look. Good luck finding your dress! 😊

I bought mine from Tradesy. I like that they offer buyer protection in the transaction...and I needed it the first time I ordered my dress! At the end of the day, I have my dream dress, and I've tried it on at least three times last week!

One big red flag is when all of the pictures of the models in the dresses look different. Those are clearly taken from other sites and they are making rip offs. Hopefully you get lucky and your dress will not be one of the disasters.

View Quoted Comment I'm so happy for you! I've chatted with a person at the site. He has agreed to take photos of the dress prior to shipping. I did pay with a credit card so I should be able to file a fraud claim if necessary. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Paying with a credit card will absolutely save you a great deal of hassle. I'd say you have nothing to lose, at this point!

10 to 15 days to make it. It's been 9 days as of today, then another 10 to 15 for shipping.

You guys! I ordered my dress from Dressafford 3 weeks ago and wasn’t SUPER nervous, but I got it this past Friday and it’s perfect!! I have to get it altered in the straps because they’re too big but that’s it. It honestly does vary from the original picture, but it could have been WAY worse. I wish it was as lacy but it’s amazing for $200.

Your dress is really pretty!!! I'm still a nervous wreck. They had told me they would send me a picture of my dress before they shipped it, but I got a email telling me it shipped. So now I wait to see what I get!!

My dress should be here by next week. I'm hoping it looks good on and me. These are photos of it prior to it shipping to me. It appears to be a bit different from the picture I saw on the site.
We'll see when it gets here! It's hard to tell without it being on someone.
