optting to stop sex before wedding

this is a bit of a personal question but I thought I would give it a shot. Has anyone stopped having a physical relationship with the FH until the wedding night and if so how long.... and do you beleive this is healthy for the relationship?

My FH and I are still debating on that, we are both Christians and we are planning on abstaining until wedding night for a full year, I'm not sure how that will affect our relationship, but we are both willing to take that risk, we have faith that with prayers, we can do it & we'll make it through. We believe that it will help us a lot, this is very personal & it is all up to you & FH to decide, whatever your reasons are it is all up to you 2 to decide whether u want to do this for a short time or if u should do it at all. Everybody has their opinions & reasons for doing or not doing this. Gud luck to u.

Meagan.. we made the deal that if it became unbearable or cause too many issues. we would stop with no further questions. I'm beginning to feel like he is revaulting but not in a direct way more like....... very moody lol... we have for the most part kept seperate sleeping arrangements because i think for the most part its easier for him this way.....

Jennifer, Oh yeah sleeping in separate beds is a great plan. You are also right in the fact that your waiting is almost done, you can make it!!

This is definitely not for me. Sex to us is more of an emotional connection to each other. I don't think I could deal with that being taken away, especially with everything else going on. The separate beds wouldn't work for us because we are used to cuddling while we sleep. We both have trouble sleeping when the other one isn't around.

I'm not doing that cause we have a long distance relationship as it is so any chance we see either we're together, but on the night of we're not going to be either, besides having sex is a great stress release so why not use it.

Another thing is when we have sex it's not just sex all the time, there are times to where i feel so close to him, like all his love for me is shown at that moment, to where it is really just the two of us and noone else. it's great
