Opening joint bank account? Thoughts??

Just wondering, does everyone open a joint back account before their wedding/during the planning process. We are still early on and looking to start saving, our parents are helping but we don't want to make sure we can afford things as well.

We made the account and ordered FH's debit card and checks so it is there and ready for us when we go to combine everything.

FH and I got joint accounts about a year before getting engaged. We share everything nothing is seperate. We feel that were a team and we work together in this area and that works for us. I know a lot of people do better having seperate accounts. I would talk to you FH and see how he feels.
