Has anyone had an open bar? If so, how much did it end up costing. I saw 2,800 for about 170 people which I thought wasn't bad. I'm just curious what everyone else's was

My venue wanted $3200 for an open bar. I declined. Cash and carry!

Ours was $3750 after gratuity and tax. For beer wine and call liquor for 100 people. 7 hour event

We got lucky on this. We rented a private club from a friend, and he gave us an open bar for 60 people for five hours for $250. Only well drinks, but still a great price. Then again, he knew our friends weren't heavy drinkers.

That price sounds really low. Ours was included in the package, but my sister's was almost $53 per adult (half off for the few under 21), for 4 hours of top shelf open bar. (The venue/state? had a 4 hour limit). That price included tax and service charge.
