One tier wedding cake design idea?

I honestly LOVE this cake as an option for you ! You can guarantee no one has seen this before

#1 is definitely our cake. However, #2  are possible cakes for the dessert table.

We are doing the same thing, having a dessert and donut bar with just a small one tier cake for the purposes of the cake cutting tradition. I think it depends on how you plan to display the cake whether you should go more intricate with the design. We plan to have the cake on top of the donut "tower" so I plan to keep it rather simple.

This is what our's is going to look like. I'll decide day-of if I want some plumerias scattered around the base.

We actually did a flat ice cream cake (or 4 of them cut in the back) they did a great job of putting a nice swirled pattern on it.

We are doing a donut tower with a small cutting cake also. We just found a simple cake design that we liked and just ordered the top tier. I'm on mobile and pic is non laptop, sorry.

ETA: picture now that I am on my computer. We are doing the top tier with some tweaks- it will all be white, no ribbon, and no flowers.

@kitandkaboodle I LOVE that second cake. @Chelsea, we are having something similar except cupcakes instead of doughnuts.

We are doing something like this (ours is two tiers) but you could do it just the top tier

If you are going to do a 1 tier cake I would make it a statement piece. One that is going to stand out! Maybe with an amazing cake topper or with great texture or color!!

I love this one! Really, you could look at any cake you love and just make one tier of it though.

I love these ideas and pictures Ladies, it's really helpful! I think I'm liking the cakes with texture the most.
