I ordered off Zazzle.com and they looked pretty good when I ordered them ... well they came in today and I HATE them. First of all, that pink "ribbon" isn't even a freakin REAL ribbon!!! Uggghhhh- it looks so cheesy!!!! And secondly- the RSVP size is like on steroids!!!!!!! It's like the size of a postcard!!! WTH??!?!? I just wanna throw them out ... they weren't super expensive about $90. I am so close to RE-ORDERING ALL over and not from zazzle.com if not- I am thinking of hot glue a REAL ribbon on it to try to save these invites ... Smiley sad Smiley sad

Just keep in mind that most guests don't keep the invitation. If you're willing to spend the time making bows and hot gluing to the invite to make you happy, then do it! I just did it the other night and it took me about 4 hours for 120 invitations. I didn't have any help though.

Yes, salvage, and like some people are saying out there, people really do not keep the invites, so are you willing to spend more money on something that will be thrown away? I think they are nice though.

If you're looking for that 3D effect - maybe you could add a paper/ribbon flower in the center of the bow? It would be super easy to add and it might save your budget from having to start all over.

Since we all think they look fine via ur photo, have u asked a friend or family member to look at them in person and give their HONEST opinion? maybe that will help!

I can't tell that the ribbon looks fake. The invitation otherwise looks nice. I would not spend money reprinting them, and I'm sure your guests will not mind. You could probably just make it a talking piece at the wedding and laugh about it with your guests Smiley smile

Try Magnet Street. I've loved everything they've done for me.

A lot of people actually prefer postcard-sized RSVP cards. You save on postage, since a postcard requires less postage than an envelope. And it often saves postage on sending the invitation out, because you don't have the extra weight/thickness of an RSVP envelope in there. Just one more thing to consider...

I like TIffany's idea. Add a little bow where the magenta bow is, not the whole ribbon. I would do the bow in black, that way if the printed bow shows underneath it gives a nice effect. Plus then you don't have to try to match the magenta.

I think this is why I'm going to just make my invites, I don't have that many to send out so it's no big deal for me, not to mention I have friends who are willing to help me and such. I just don't want to order something and then get it in and be disappointed because it isn't what I thought it would be....

WOW! I can't believe the seller did not list that the bow is just part of the digital image. Zazzle only sells flat or folded printed cards. None of the designs shown are on separate layers or assembled in any way. You should at least let the seller know your complaint. It should be listed to warn others, becasue it is kindof hard to know what you are seeing online.

Personally, I hate Vista print & zazzle. I thk their stuff does look cheap & cheesy. What you could do is jazz it up a little by getting some pocket folds or even tie it together with a belly ribbon

I would use a pink invitation backing & a pocket fold. You could get them from cards & pockets

Warning. Hot gluing ribbon would significantly increase the weight of each invitation and you could get stuck paying extra postage fees for every single one. Happened to someone i know! 😂
