ok ladies wedding ring upgrade question?

My fh said when he gave me me this ring that for our 10 year he would like to get me an upgrade and then I can keep this ring to give to my daughters fh when he wants to pop the question so it can stay in the family ..... this topic came about because my mother has the ring that my great grandfather gave to my

great grandmother and it is the most amazing ring on the plannet .... he was a jeweler and a really good one, he designed this ring for her and destroyed the cast after he made the ring so there will never be another one like it, i have wanted it ever since i was a tiny child my mom has it now and i begged and begged for her to give it to me however she said NOPE (mind you she just keeps it in a safe) she said me and my sister need to flip a coin for it when she dies ..... well mine is nothing fancy but when my daughter gets married she can have it and i hope that the man that gives it to her is as amazing as the man who gave it to me

Well i had to give my ring back to them when i up graded it. thats a nice idea tho. im not upset really just like a longing feeling, just miss it kinda i had it on for so long. but i love my new ring to, my bands dont quite match but oh well

I have a beautiful three stone sapphire promise ring that I wore for seven years and didn't remove except for cleaning it... then he got me a diamond for an engagement ring and the entire time I wore it, I loved that it was an engagement ring... but I loved the sapphire one more because it meant so much after so many years.

After we were married, I actually asked if I could stop wearing the diamond and go back to wearing the sapphires... and he actually confessed that he liked the sapphire one better too! lol. So now I'm wearing the sapphire on my right hand with my wedding band by itself on the left hand. So you are definitely not alone on the sentimental front.

Ok wonderful i love it so much i just dont wanna sound crazy, cause ive been kinda down lately and FH has tapped into that and knows im kinda sad but i wanted to get other opinions if im being crazy b4 i talk to him about it.
