If you want to see new threads in a certain order you can filter that. If you go into any group (category) and go to the list of discussions in that group you can change how they are ordered. You can go by when they were first posted, when they were last commented on, etc

I know what change was made and why. There was work around profanity in the post. Its just such a boundary to overstep for someone to go in and anonymously edit my post. If you are going to do that, a simple "Modified by (name) due to (TOS violation)" etc. So theres a RECORD of it being modified. Otherwise, like I said you can just post whatever you want and its under my name!

If you are going to use and enforce your super speshul mod powers, at least leave a record of it for the rest of us to clear up any confusion.

Gotcha. Well in whoever's defense, I'm glad they edited the post so this conversation could happen, rather than removing the whole thread! Now, it is clear in the CGs that mods can edit posts, but I can totally get that it's disconcerting to just see your words changed. Let me create a policy that we'll leave notes when something has been edited. I don't think that note would include a name, since all our mods are just known on the site as "Moderator", but how about something like *this post was modified due to (CG Violation)*?
