YES! we looked there, but decided to try to go a little closer given 95% of the guest list is located about 10 miles from us haha. It is beautiful there!!

I grew up in Wooster. While I love living in the DC area, I know my wedding would have been a lot less expensive if I'd gotten married in Ohio.

Oh wow! small world!! Yeah, it's about 10 minutes away from us and since half of everyone that is coming are from Boardman, Youngstown, Columbiana, etc ..it works. The other half is from New Castle. It is really pretty there!

JoAnna M. - we also looked at Stambaugh, Mr. Anthony's, and The Georgetown, but Mahoning Country Club was MUCHHH more budget friendly!

2d Bride - I've been through Wooster a couple of times, it's a nice area. DC is expensive though!

Stubenville!! I have been there once with a friend from college! I loved it there! It seemed super small but I loved the area!

O yes, all those places are lovely!! Especially the Georgetown since their remodel. I am not familiar with the country club though.. As long as it works for you!

Well although we live in wv we only like 5minutes from Steubenville Ohio. We are having our reception at a small italian restaraunt there mmm pasta!

We have family in WV so I've been through steubenville often on trips. It's only about a hour and 15 mins away.

I actually live outside of Columbus where the traffic is way more manageable. But I know what you are saying, any time I drive on 70 I am a nervous wreck.

I'll actually be in Columbus on Sunday to pick up my soon to be step daughters to stay with us for a month =) Their mom meets us there cuz it halfway for both of us

Im from portage county..live in ravenna. But my wedding and reception will be in warren because that is where FH is from, (well hes technically from champion) he lived there all his life until we got together and we moved in together in ravenna. And 90% of our guests live in warren/champion area

I'm in Mentor!! Thank god there are other Ohio ladies on here. I'm tired of always seeing shit about other states and big named cities.

I live in Cleveland! We haven't chosen our venue yet (have about 5 more to look at but our top choice is in Hudson, Ohio. We'll see. It will either be there, Chardon or Mayfield Hts (not too far). Hi fellow Buckeyes!! @ DeAnna P GO BROWNS!!!
