Officiant thank you gift

What does she like/ what are you willing to give? As a thank you to my mom, aunts & mother in law for all their help with my wedding I am giving them all a spa day.. maybe your aunt will like something like that? Or if that’s too much, sometimes a simple thank you card & a gift card for her to treat herself to something nice at a favorite store or restaurant of hers is more than enough.

Hi NOLABride2018!! In the past, I've seen that people take their officiants out for a nice dinner! You could take her to one of her favorite restaurants and then maybe get her one of her favorite bottles of wine! What sorts of things does she like?

Instead of cash, what about a really nice gift card (Visa, American Express). Same as cash but may feel more “gifty.” The bottle of wine is a great idea too. I’d do something small or wine + gift card.

We are giving ours a nice bottle of liquor.

Our officiant was a family friend who is also a judge. we thanked him with a really nice bottle of wine and a handwritten thank you note. we also tried to take him and his wife out for dinner before the wedding as a pre-emptive thank you but they wouldn't let us pay!! such a generous guy. IMO the best thank you gifts are things that are functional or consumable.
