Officially moved our Fall Wedding

Maureen, on July 5, 2020 at 10:30 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 10
Well, it has happened to us now. We moved our wedding from 10-25-2020 to 11-14-2021.

What an emotional roller coaster. So many factors went into our decision, but we’re at peace with it. The new contract is signed, sealed and delivered.
Good luck to all upcoming 2020 couples making this very tough decision. Everyone’s wedding day will be beautiful.

I’m so worried this will be us. I just had to make the decision not to have some of my family fly in from Texas (to Indiana) because the cases are so bad there. My heart is just hurting right now. I want all of my family there 🥺

We’re in Florida, with over half the guest list getting on a plane and there were whispers in the family about being hesitant to fly down. We pulled the plug early on the decision because the anxiety leading up to October was brutal for me. I couldn’t take anymore “what ifs”. My families safety is concerning and I’m very close with them, I want them there. Yes, signing the new contract stung a little, but the worry overall washed away.

Do what is best for you, talk it over with your fiancé. Make a pro/con list, or just go with your heart. Good luck with everything.

We moved from October 2020 to October 2021 and it definitely brought relief that I didn’t expect. But after weighing everything out, there was no denying that postponing was best for our wedding.

I had to move my June 2020 wedding to March 2021. Fingers crossed it will be better by then. There were too many what ifs and stressing leading up to it that it was just better four our sanity. You'll make peace with it and will be excited again Smiley smile

I totally understand the relief. We postponed our Sept. 26th 2020 wedding to May 15th 2021 and I just felt a weight off of me when we officially signed our new contracts.

We're working on moving our 10/10 wedding to 4/10/21. It kind of sucks, but I'm trying to look on the bright side.

I’m sorry you had to make that difficult decision Maureen. But I’m so glad you’ve locked down a new wedding date!

Hoping that officially rescheduling has lifted some stress off of your shoulders! ❤️
