I’m planning to set a date for early October 2020. It will be in Houston, TX and for the life of me I can’t remember the weather that time of year. Anybody have experience/advice with Houston October weddings that I might not think of? I feel like it’s not to hot and not to cold but I also think it gets rainy.

I live on the northern side of Houston and this past year it was hot at the beginning of October. I don't recall it really raining though. The bad flooding that happened was in mid September! I'm getting married on 10/10/20 and I'm not stressing too much! That's one thing that is out of your control

One of my besties got married October 5 2019 (I was her MOH) and it was super duper Hot! Thankfully her ceremony and reception were indoor but we took outdoors pictures for over an hour and we were suffering because of the heat.
