I’m an October 2020 bride and I have my dress but people tell me I’m early. I feel good though because I feel that I am now basing my decorations and things off my dress

About a year out because dresses can take 8-10 months to come in once ordered.

I’m getting married in October 2020, too! I plan to start trying on dresses in late October/November

Depending where you plan to shop, your timeline could work out really well for waiting until Black Friday (or White Friday, as my local shop calls it) to look for great deals on a dress. That's a little less than a year out, but I'd expect it'll be enough time.

I have mine but don't plan on changing weight.
I'd say September this year you should have tried on dresses to see what you like and have a good idea. Ask the shop how long each takes to come in and make you choice from there.

I got mine in June of this year for my October 2020 wedding. People were asking why I didn't have my dress yet. I'm assuming because of the time the designer has to make the dress

I'm also getting married in October 2020 and I plan on starting to look in October this year. From what I've read and based on the WW timeline it's a year in advance. Good luck!
