Okay so we are getting married on Siesta Key Beach, FL in October but I'm seriously stuck for reception ideas. We are thinking around 20ish people will be there total and we want something casual but still nice enough for people who are flying all the way to see our wedding. I've been looking into restaurants, still haven't found one that wasn't super expensive so I'm looking for more ideas there or just any other ideas in general. Can someone please give me advice on what to do?! We also aren't into dancing and I heard/read not do a reception on the beach either so I'm not sure what to do...

Congratulations! How about something brunch related? Dancing and music doesn’t have to be included. Most importantly, costs are usually lower for breakfast/lunch foods and it’ll be a bit different than what many people experience with a wedding which is a good thing!

Congrats!
Is it possible to do an appetizers kind of spread for your guests? With 20 people or so, you could actually have a great buffet meal that way.

It might be a cheaper option at a restaurant?
Or perhaps you could rent a small room and cater it through Costco or something like that?
