October 2020 Couples!!

Getting married 10/31/20. Plan to have a formal non-halloween themed wedding. Colors are plum and light orange.

Our date is October 4. Our colors are White, Champagne, and Gold. All of our guests have to wear all black black tie attire. For our first dance we will be dancing on clouds(using a smoke machine) and have a sparklers machine.. I am still trying to figure out the decor as far as the table linen color and charger plates. It giving me a headache. But for our cermony we will be standing in the middle and our guests seats will be in a circle around us..i will post a pic.

Hey date twin! We're also getting married on Halloween, but NO costumes or pumpkins!

We're getting married on October 31. We talked about dates and thought a Halloween wedding might be tacky, even though it's our favorite holiday. We fell in love with our venue though and knowing we wanted a Saturday, our only date choices were Halloween or mid-November (the day after they put up all of the Christmas décor). So Halloween it is, without the costumes or pumpkins. We're going with deep red wine/burgundy with charcoal grey, burnt orange, and cream. Our big day will have an elegant but vintage vibe

We are October 10, 2020 (10/10/2020)!! We are doing a Roaring 20's theme. Our colors are rose gold, blush, steel blue and ivory (Pearl). I'm having a hard time finding 20's style bridesmaids dresses, but I'm hoping we will find something soon! I managed to find a beautiful dress with lots of beading and I'm thinking my choices of jewelry and headwear will help pull it all together. I will be wearing his grandmother's necklace (she gave it to me last year) that is from the 20's. We are trying to be unique, but still have some traditions. We will be doing a first dance as husband and wife and considering doing a first family dance since we are a blended family. My something blue is going to be my Navy name tag which will be seen onto the bottom of my dress!

Our wedding day will be opening weekend at the Texas Renaissance festival.

Our wedding is 10/31/20. Our colors are black and sienna (burnt orange). I am making our center pieces. My best friend/MOH mom is doing the flowers, and our tattoo artist is our officiant. While this is not a Halloween themed wedding, I am still planning on having a skull or skeleton cake topper and possibly some sort of skull clip in my hair.

Considering rust orange and navy with some sage green; I love fall but also love boho elements like succulents so was considering doing the bouquets and the centerpieces with succulents, and maybe incorporating pumpkins and candles as well. And the dress style that appeals to me is SUPER boho though I don't personally make that connection (angel bell sleeves/lace). It's all over the place so it's cool that someone is thinking similarly!

Hi! I'm October 16 2020! Our colors are fall inspired. My bridesmaids will be in shade of burgundy. Our personalized touches are we are putting camo and lots of country touches. My fiance and his men will be in jeans and black button ups with camo vests. Everyone in the wedding party except our parents will be in cowboy boots. We are having cornhole and a smores bar at the reception. The cake will have camo on it. We also both love disney and I am a princess happily ever loving girl at heart so we will be having disney music played as our guests are seated at the ceremony and a horse drawn carriage is going to pick us up! October is my favorite month so there will definitely be some pumpkins around as well. Our venue is The Barn on Summers Corner.

I'm spending less than $500 on my dress. I want it as simple as possible!

I would LOVE to have our wedding ceremony at the beach, unfortunately we live in upstate NY so there's fishin spots but no like actual beaches that would be suitable for my wedding lol. I am very happy to be having a small and simple wedding, we have two children and I'm a stay-at-home mom right now so we kinda have a tight budget but it's more than enough for me and my better half. I don't have my wedding dress yet, I've seen some online that I love and I feel like I'd be uncomfortable in a bridal shop so I'll probably end up with one from online. The biggest cost of our wedding is definitely going to be the tent/chair/pa system rental, which is $650. Good luck with your wedding planning! I hope you're having as much fun as I am!
