October 2019 brides!! How’s the planning going?

I have all the big stuff done, but I have so many little things to buy i feel so overwhelmed! I don't want to forget anything but I also want to space out buying it all so that I can afford it! haha. We also haven't gotten my FH's tux or rings yet so we have to do that. Picked out all the readings and songs for the ceremony this passed weekend so that feels like a major accomplishment!!

I definitely feel you on spreading things out!! I’ve been buying all the little things since January!! I actually got my fiancé’s band on amazon for like $15!! I bought 2 because of his job they may crack. I was hesitant at first but when getting him sized at a big name store for a tungsten ring, the salesman told me they have the exact ones on amazon lol and he wasn’t kidding

I’m getting everything done slowly but surely. Right now I have mile-long list of tiny things that I have to buy/do. I’m trying to keep a detailed list of things left to do. I’m having my hair/MU trial next weekend and plan to walk around my venue to mentally place tables, decor, etc. I’m at a point where it still feels far away, but close at the same time!

I also totally feel like I have about a million little things to do haha. I just bought silicone bands for both of us, but we still need to get a real band for FH. I'm about 15 mintues away from finishing sewing backpack tote bags for my bridesmaids, and then it's on to making dopp kits for the guys. There's still lots of little things I need to buy (cake topper and server, table numbers, a seating chart), but overall I think it's all coming together.

Same here as well! May 2018 engagement and I've been feeling as thought the past two months have dragged ... haha ... but I'm sure they will speed up soon!

Yea I was actually looking at getting his from Etsy! He wants a black Tungsten ring as well, maybe I'll look at Amazon too! So glad he wants smthing so affordable lol makes things so much easier. Unfortunbately I just started buying the little things last month so I still have quite a long list!! Trying to get 3-4 things every pay check lol im sure by the end it will be more like 5-6 things hahaha

Still have to get his band, he got mine already.

All vendors booked with the exception of ceremony music, though ceremony singers are taken care of.

Now in the process of buying all the smaller decor items for the reception- some candles, some faux florals, etc.

Still need to buy my shoes and jewelry.

Invitations are designed but need to place the order this weekend.

Haven't had a hair and makeup trial yet, but one of my best friends is a hair dresser and is doing this for me so I am not stressed or worried about it.

All of my vendors are booked.

We both have our wedding bands.

Centerpieces done.

Bridal party gifts are all done.

Invitations all written out, just waiting a few weeks to put them in the mail.

I made up a mock seating chart if everyone were to come. (I was most excited to make the seating chart so I couldn't wait any longer even though I probably will have to change most of it lol)

I have been working on ceremony music, ceremony logistics, DIY signs and decorations, and I have my makeup trial on Saturday. I am so excited but starting to feel a little stressed because it is coming so fast. But October 5th, HERE I COME!!!

That's awesome, same here! Things have been running smoothly since I took care of all the big stuff right away. Now I'm just focusing on little details and fun extras All I can do is pray the day unfolds without too many hiccups!

It's actually going fairly well now that I have the venue, my dress, and the officiant taken care off! Next up i'm trying to find a DJ I can afford with my small budget. I"m trying to save the money to get my guy the ring he wants off Etsy. I believe I have the cake taken care off to, I have my undergarments..so just a few more things...still trying to decide on what I want as centerpieces

We’ve had a 2 year engagement so I’ve been slowly chipping away at things. All the big stuffs been done for a while now it’s just smaller things like signage & finishing up gifts then all the meeting with the vendors start.

We are working on getting addresses together for invites. Hopefully going to be talking with the officiant this week, he’s the last of the things we need to book.
