How is your planning going!?!?!? What have you finalized? What do you have left to figure out? I can not wait to marry my bestfriend he is amazing! We are finalizing everything Friday evening, my dress has given me such a headache but will be back from Alterations April 12th. I have no idea what to get the groomsmen to say thank you for being apart of our big day. We gave them flasks so I am thinking of something to go with that? I am undecided on the isle runner at the moment. Slplacing our wedding cake order this Saturday!

That is awesome! You have a lot done lol. We are done with all the "big" things. Waiting for our engagement pics to get back so we can send out the Save the Dates, and I have my makeup trial next week. I need to order tablecloths soon, and I haven't figured out weather I am doing DIY flowers or hiring a florist. And still have to get other little things that are gonna add up like cupcake/cake stands, wedding signs, wedding party gifts, favors, ect.

Yea I found a webiste for the table cloths, just need to pull the trigger and buy them! Also yes I have been all over Etsy haha I love the stuff on there! however they can get pricey, so I have been looking at FB marketplace and Wedding consignment places to see if I find any second hand.

We have all the major things done, except picking out his suit, which he's doing closer to the date (I think he wants to spend some time in the gym first). But dress, food, cake, venue, flowers, those are all done. We're not doing a ton diy, but I'm making my veil and headpiece, so I want to start those soon. I'm getting little clay flowers and glass beads from Etsy, but I want to do a trial run first, with some flowers that are a different color (If that turns out well, I'll wire it to a comb and give it to my MOH, as it'll match her dress.) We're waiting until July to order invites and the photobooth stuff. I don't know what else is left!

For cake/cupcake stands, just about anything can be used. Crates, cute boxes, small ladders and boards, old chandeliers... A popular diy version is candlesticks and plates from Dollar Tree glued together. It would depend on your theme/overall look, but there are tons of options.

Ya’ll are awesome! We’re on a tight budget so things are taking longer, but we’re making progress! Our wedding is going to be outdoors in SC and my current challenge is figuring out electricity/power/lighting and how to avoid renting a generator. In the process of planning this wedding and DIY-ing so many things, I have learned a TON about random subjects! Also, I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m sooo ready to be married! What are ya’ll doing for your honeymoons?

Our Venue/ Florist/ Hair & Makeup/DJ & Photobooth are all booked. The Dress has been bought - waiting for alterations. We'll be having a food tasting in April and should be able to finalize the menu then. He's waiting until mid year to get his suit. I'm DIYing my table numbers and votive holders so we'll see how that goes! I'm starting to buy other venue decorations as i see them on sale or in store! I'm i missing anything? Haha

We decided on a Honeymoon location, we'll be going to Thailand for 2 weeks in November, but haven't booked anything yet. Smiley laugh

I'm so ready to marry my FH and start the next chapter! Smiley heart

We have the venue booked, and since it's a restaurant/event space they're supplying the cake stand, etc. Dress is in my closet, and it didn't even need alterations! Save the Dates are out, wedding website is up. I picked out a cake and cake topper, but we still need to order both. I'm in the process of making a list of all of the things we HAVEN'T thought about yet so we can get cracking. So excited! We're going to wait six months for the honeymoon. Our front runner right now is Prague!

I'm currently awaiting my dress to arrive in 2-3 weeks as I had it custom fitted, I have all of the major things booked and paid for. Now, all we need is to buy gifts for bridesmaids & groomsmen, little decor pieces & games for the reception, and anything little I can think of.

    Hello lovelies!
Our wedding will be outdoors as well on family land so I’m with you on figuring out the lighting situation! We have our caterer booked, save the dates out, planner booked, I’m buying decor as I see it as well, website is up, and looked into D.J. Looked into vendors for tables, linens, chairs, arbor, furniture, utensils and such but have not booked them yet. We get our engagement pictures done next week which will determine if we hire them for photos. Still need a florist, dance floor, lighting, day of wedding essentials/gifts, bm dresses and groom/groomsmen suit, book our honeymoon/flights, and register for the bridal showers. Lots of work to do for us. Happy planning ladies Smiley smile

Hey ladies! It’s coming up extremely quick! I am in nursing school and we had got engaged 4 months prior to starting so I got a lot done! We just have flowers which i think we may DIY that to save some money. We still have to get his outfit and ours groomsmens outfits! We also just have a few more decorations to make as our centerpieces are going to be spray painted wine bottles and mason jars with twine that will be filled with the roses my dad got my mom throughout their marriage! My dress goes in for alterations in June and I can’t wait! I feel like it is definitely starting to get stressful!

I was super ahead, but have fallen a bit more behind. Most vendors are booked. Just need to book the DJ and finalize stuff with our baker friend for the cake. Waiting on save the dates to get here and I need to get invites made. Been focusing mainly on picking up decor. Got almost everything for centerpieces and just need a few more diy items for the rest of decor. Haven't gotten a cake stand or anything to display things yet. We need to get the rehearsal dinner figured out and FH needs to get a suit at some point. (He will probably wait until the last possible minute knowing him.) We also need to pick out and buy rings and get everything nailed down with our officiant. I feel like we still have a lot to do, but it is about 6 months to do it, so I'm trying not to stress.
