October 12, 2019 Only 198 days ladies!

Congrats to all the October 12, 2019 brides. I'm so excited and the day can't get here soon enough. All of our major things are booked, including venue, hair/makeup, photog, flowers, dress, band, etc. I'm about to send out STD in a week or two and looking into cake tastings. It's amazing that some bakeries charge up to $50 for a tasting. The vendor I'm most excited about is the Roving Bar, which is a little truck that will serve prosecco and beer. It'll fit in perfectly with our venue. My venue is BYOB, so I need to really figure out what spirits and wine to buy and the quantities. I know there are a lot of charts out there, but I want to try to strike the right balance so that I'm not stuck with having to transport a bunch of alcohol back home.

I've booked the venue, it's a local herb farm so we're bringing everything in. Caterer, tent rentals, restroom trailer, table/chairs/linen/etc rentals, and dj have all been booked, photographer/videographer have been hired, had hair and make up trial and they're hired, the farm will be doing bunches of herbs/flowers for bridal party and I will be doing DIY centerpieces of pumpkins, candles and succulents from the farm. I am wearing my mom's non-traditional wedding dress from the 70's and have a fitting this weekend. I will be going with my FH to pick out suits for him and his guys and I have test dresses coming in for my girls. My FH's aunt and my aunt are making pies to go along with a small cake for dessert and we had the menu tasting with the caterer last month. We have the hotel block booked and are using their shuttles for the bridal party and guests since it's only a 10 min drive. My save the dates are out, website is up and I've ordered the invitations (going to wait to send). I still need to find and book an officiant but we are meeting with one next weekend. Getting really excited and I feel like these next 6 months are going to fly by!!

Working on the design plan for my space. right now. I will be reviewing the design proposal next week and I am super excited to see what the designer team has come up with. The team have is super creative and comes up with the most devine stuff. I just have to be ready to pay for it! LOL . Otherwise, I am doing ok on the planning. My biggest outstanding items right now are the videographer (I am not sure I even want one) and the baker for my cake. My dress, photographer, planner, caterer, event designer, florist, DJ, bar services, and hair stylist are all secured. In the next few months I will look at makeup, wedding day getting ready location, wedding night location, secure the baker, and consider videography. Oh my guest list is also done. We have no wedding party so no worries on bridal party stuff.

Still trying to book a caterer and sending our invites in July.
