Hey everyone. Our date is set for October 3rd. We are excited and anxious, and now facing the COVID pandemic and since we live in NY state, things are extra crazy. We have started the discussion of postponing or at least looking at what that would mean. Anyone else with Sept. or Oct. weddings and in a similar boat?

I wouldn’t be concerned about a fall wedding right now. Wait to see how things play out for a little while longer and maybe reconsider your options around the end of July.

October is still looking ok, but of course we don't really know.
Certainly keep planning, but DO talk to your vendors about their policies in regards to postponement. Knowledge is power, and communication is key.

We're getting married in September and late June sounds like a good idea for a re-evaluation time frame. This is all so terribly stressful. Wishing you the best.

My wedding is October 3rd also. I’m getting the same advice also “you should be OK for the Fall” and not to make any decisions about postponing until July. However, the waiting it out n see is very stressful!
