Hi Everyone,

we have narrowed down our search to wedding venues and we were wondering if anyone has any input on the experience and food at the Bronx Zoo, Metropolitan Club, or Essex House?

Help would be appreciated!!!

Hi Anna!! Those are all really great potential venues. Have you taken a look at these venues here on WeddingWire? There are some great reviews of the Bronx Zoo and the Essex House that I think you'll find very helpful. I couldn't find anything on the Metropolitan Club but yelp may be of good help too! Couples in the community have written very detailed reviews of their experiences and included photos from their weddings!

I looked at the reviews but still have some concerns. Seems like the planner from Essex is now at Metropolitan Club haha. My concern with Essex is the lack of responsiveness, which if it's this bad early in the game who knows how it will be during actual wedding planning. Concerns with Bronx zoo are the smell, reception space, and food quality. And metropolitan club regarding food and overall experience..... Hoping people will be able to help

We also liked Park Savoy in NJ and Tribeca Rooftop...but those are further on the list.
